A 600-gram preterm baby with a life-threatening heart condition was saved through a groundbreaking, non-surgical PDA closure via the leg artery.

With the expertise of Dr. P. Bhavani Deepthi (Consultant Neonatologist & Paediatrician), Dr. Sudeep Verma (Consultant Paediatric Cardiologist), Dr. Sindhu Maru (Consultant Neonatologist) & the NICU team, a 1.2 mm device was used to close the PDA safely without surgery — making this baby the lightest in India to undergo such a procedure. 🌟
