The NICU team at KIMS Cuddles, Nellore, successfully treated and discharged a preterm baby boy born at just 29 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 1250 grams at birth.
The infant was delivered through an emergency LSCS due to low and leaking amniotic fluid and developed severe respiratory distress immediately after birth. The baby was provided advanced ventilator support and continuous specialised monitoring in the NICU.
The treatment was carried out by a multidisciplinary team including Dr. Madineni Venkat Naveen (Consultant Neonatologist & Paediatrician), Dr. Bhargav Ruthala (Consultant Neonatologist), and Dr. Renangi Murarji (Consultant Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), who managed the infant with advanced neonatal intensive care support.
Hospital officials highlighted that KIMS Cuddles, Nellore, is equipped to handle highly complex neonatal and pediatric critical care cases.
