  • Trained as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team in providing specialized care for critically ill newborns, including extremely premature and low-birth-weight infants.
  • Managed neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) cases, ensuring timely interventions and evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Performed advanced neonatal procedures such as intubation, surfactant therapy, umbilical line placement, central lines, exchange transfusions, and therapeutic hypothermia.

1. Focused on the intensive care of critically ill neonates, including management of shock, persistent pulmonary hypertension, and multisystem involvement using bedside functional echocardiography and targeted interventions.

2. Specialized in preterm neonatal care, with emphasis on optimizing outcomes in ELBW and <28-week gestation infants through individualized respiratory support, thermoregulation, and neuroprotective strategies.

3. Proficient in advanced neonatal ventilation, including volume-targeted, high-frequency oscillatory, and non-invasive modalities tailored to fragile preterm lungs and critically unstable infants.

4. Keen interest in feeding and nutrition of preterm infants, particularly early enteral feeding, use of mother's own milk, fortification protocols, and post-discharge growth monitoring.

5. Actively engaged in research and quality improvement initiatives, focusing on exclusive breastfeeding promotion after cesarean section, infection control, and antenatal steroid impact in late preterms.
